aligned, authentic & accessible wellness

All we offer aligns and intersects through the frameworks of yoga, meditation and social justice - using the modalities of movement, meditation, nature, creativity & community to align our mind, body and spirit with truth, justice & sustainable care for all we are and all we are to one another.

Our work is done through trauma informed perspectives and practices with the intention to serve and support with the authenticity of the frameworks as well as the authenticity of the people we are working with & the systems we are in. This is not a one size fits all. This is we're only well if we're all well.

We believe in what is possible through practice, peace and unity offering universal support within all ecosystems of change through both in-person & virtual classes, continued education & healing spaces intentional of accessibility & opportunity for the whole of every body and the whole of every system.

for every mind, body, spirit & system

trauma-informed

The human and harm in us recognizes the human and harm in all - as well as the resiliency and capacity to heal. We believe in what is possible through choice, agency and radical compassionate truth and offer that in all we share.

equity-based

To be well is our birthright, yet how well we are is dependent upon where we land in our human identity as well as our proximity to privilege, access and power. All should have access to support and we are intentional to ensuring all do.

whole-wellness

Our well-being is bound.

We believe a whole-self & whole-society approach is integral to creating conditions, circumstances and culture that supports and sustains our health, happiness and well-being. No one is exempt.

we believe we are only as well as the environments we are in.

we believe in what is possible when we have support, space & one another.

My dear friend and teaching partner brought me to Alignment 8 a few years back in the middle of the most difficult year of my career. She suggested that I take the restorative yoga class. This class saved my soul. I was able to breathe, reflect, and take care of all of me. I was able to bring back many of the techniques and ideas back to my students to share this wisdom with them. I then started taking other yoga classes at A8 on a drop in basis. Keri has been an absolute light in dark times in my personal and professional life. She always greets everyone who comes to class with a genuine connection, making sure we feel welcomed and that our specific needs are met. She has held space for me to cry, laugh, be silly, or serious. She is willing to do and talk about hard things when everyone else seems to prefer to ignore it. I so appreciate a safe place to do important internal and social work. Keri gives us all permission and space to grow, rest, restore, connect, and honor ourselves. I am so thankful for her spirit and everything she is willing to hold, share, and create with others.”
